Wizard's Guide |
Wizard

Wizards are the second most important member of an Arena Circuit party. Using "Fas Spiorad" they have an infinite mana source for their party to sap with a Puinneag spell. They are also able to multiply their targets elemental abilities with "Mor Fas Nadur" and are a major key to victory over these Dark defense combatants.
Summoner

Summoners take that important role of a Wizard to the next level. With the addition of "Lyliac", "Ard Fas Nadur" and a choice of either an extremely powerful direct damage attack "Mor Pian Na Dion" or a strong light attack "Unholy Explosion", it makes the role of a Wizard much more deadly in a group.
Recommended Strategy:
1st Room: In the first room cast "Mor Fas Nadur" on your party before starting to attack the combatants. The quickest route would be to use "Mor Pian Na Dion" to bring down the combatants quick and painless. If you are a Summoner try to use "Mud Wall" and "Bubble Block" to hold the combatants steady. Be sure to have the Priest consistently heals you so you don't get caught with a quick attack.
2nd Room: The second room is pretty simple, wait for the combatant to be lured into its position behind the wall to the right. While this is being done, turn around and walk back onto the grassy area and follow the lurer up the wall. From here cast "Lyliac" on the party member that's killing the combatants. "Pian Na Dion" isn't as effective here as it was in the first room. Due to the combatants draining the HP and MP of its target after each attack, you can use "Unholy Explosion" to kill if your party wishes. When you and your party get to the final combatant of the 2nd room that resembles the Tauren Creant, make sure all party members have full Mana and Health before continuing.
3rd Room: The third room you will be doing basically the same as in the second room. As you spawn in the third room begin to Lyliac the Priest in the group so that they may heal the party as they start to lure the combatant into position. Follow them south ((Down Arrow)) until you reach a wall, stand near it but DO NOT go around it. From this point begin to cast Lyliac on whomever is killing in the party. When you reach the final combatant DO NOT CONSISTENTLY USE FAS SPIORAD. The combatant has a chance to attack the entire group when it is struck, so wait to be healed before casting "Fas Spiorad" again.
(Note: If you do possess "Unholy Explosion" and are chosen to kill, please see the Priest Guide for an in-depth description on how to slay the 2nd and 3rd round combatants.)
